AMFC Sponsor Spotlight #4 *Peanut Pants*

Peanut Pants is another one of our wondeful sponsors for the A Merry Fluffy Christmas event coming up in a few short weeks.

I was given the wonderful opportunity to try out one of their adorable diapers!

I was sent this one size AIO Monster print diaper to try out. The colors on it are so vivid, and though the print is not for everyone, I adore it! Very boyish!

This diaper has a cotton knit PUL outer with a luxurious cotton sherpa inner. It has snaps on the rise which make it adjustable to fit babies of approximately 7-35 lbs, with the settings of NB, S, M, & L. The absorbant layer is a super-thirsty microterry.

What makes this diaper unique is the fact that the absorbant inner layer can be pulled all the way out. This allows for easy adjusting of size, as well as quicker dry time. You simply fold down a bit and tuck it under the lip of the pocket.

With quality materials and superb craftsmanship, this diaper is quickly becoming one of our favorites. Not only is it cute, it also fits my little guy so well. The elastic is gentle and the sherpa is sooo soft!

Here's a little about Amanda:

"My name is Amanda Minnick owner of Baby Go Green and maker/ designer of PeanutPants.  My husband Matthew and I currently live in Golden Colorado while he is working on his Ph. D. in Geological Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines and Technology.   We have been married for 3 years and have a beautiful little girl named Michaela.  She is a very active 2 year old and enjoys swimming and going down the water slide at our community center.
I began my obsession with cloth diapers when my daughter was born.  Quite honestly I felt very lost trying to figure out what I needed and how much I needed to get started.  When Michaela was a newborn I had the good ole prefolds, diaper pins, and covers, and I hated it. I could never get them on properly and I totally gave up.
It wasn’t until Michaela was 6months that I thought okay there has to be a better way to do this whole diaper thing.   I began researching, asking questions and trying different styles and types of diapers.  However they still were not what I was searching for and decided to make my own.  They started out very primitive, and gradually got better.
By the time Michaela was a year old I created PeanutPants an all-in-one cloth diaper.  The design went through small tweaks and changes based on input from friends, customers, and experiences with Michaela.
And finally my masterpiece the one size all-in-one cloth diaper PeanutPants. This is what I wanted all along a simple diaper that works for all the different stages, without all the cost of having to size up all the time.  One set that works from the day you bring your new little addition home till the day you start potty training.
I hope to see Baby Go Green as an actual store front some day.  There are so many ways I think I would be able to outreach to new moms and dads through an actual store front vs. just being online.
So for now I will continue to make my awesome diapers from home and post them on Etsy for you to enjoy.
Blessings,
Amanda"
