Here's a little about Leah, the seamstress that makes little pants so fancy:
"My name is Leah, I am 25, and I am the owner of Little Fancy Pants.
At the moment I am a full time student, majoring in Sociology. I am currently engaged to Mike, who I met in 2002. We were friends for a long time until we started dating in 2007.
For now, we don't have any children, mainly because I would like to graduate and get married first. But also because I am unable to have children, so in the future we will have to try fertility treatments.
I have always wanted 10 kids! But everyone I know thinks i'm crazy for wanting that many. But I loved taking care of my niece when she was a baby, I even learned to sew by hand by making her pants and skirts to wear.
I started sewing for her around age 8, and then my mother showed me how to sew on a machine. Later on, around late 2006 a friend of mine asked me to make her some cloth diapers for her newborn, and while doing this I learned how to use a serger.
From there, the first diaper that I sewed was not very pretty at all. However, as I made more and more for her they started looking better and better.
She also told me about the community online for cloth diapers, and I posted a few pictures of what I made on a forum. A few people messaged me asking if I sold them, and that gave me the initial idea to start selling some.
I started Little Fancy Pants with the dream that every baby could wear cute, affordable cloth diapers.
So from there I started testing different styles, once testing was finalized I started selling "Little Fancy Pants" on my hyena cart store in November 2008.
My store has now been open for 2 years, and I still love sewing cloth diapers. The best part of my job has been the emails that I get from parents who tell me they love these diapers.
One day my little one, will be cloth diapered in Little Fancy Pants too!"
